Background
The Harney Gym Renovations project is issued by the Directorate of Public Works at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. The mission of this project is to provide Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (SRM) for the Harney Sports Complex.

The goal of the contract is to ensure that the gym facilities are updated and maintained to meet current standards and operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for a variety of construction tasks including: repair and/or replacement of mechanical systems, plumbing (including under-slab), electrical systems, and fire notification and detection systems.

The scope also includes demolition work involving load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls, concrete flooring, and ceilings. Additionally, the contractor will construct structural lintels, non-load-bearing walls, doors, frames, interior glazing 'lites', ceilings, lighting, power systems, and all related finishes.

All work must be performed in strict accordance with the provided plans and specifications. The contractor must have experience managing multiple contracts simultaneously and will need to handle construction scheduling, cost estimating, quality control, and coordination of subcontractors across various trades.
