Handshake Talent Acquisition

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Stryder Corporation dba Handshake for Handshake Starter bundle user subscriptions which provides Premium Recruiter Sourcer license + additional Admin license, Insights, Event Manager, and Federal Program Management services which in turn provides CDC the ability to post jobs and events at Universities that utilize the platform Career Services. The Handshake subscription will enable CDC to be able to accomplish many of our core initiatives for 2023 and beyond including: 1) Increase diversity of candidates 2) Fill mission critical occupations and fellowships with early talent recruitment 3) Expand the number of universities that can be reached for events and ROI of those events 4) Update employer branding to attract qualified applicants 5) Decrease time to hire by having a larger applicant pool 6) Enable a data driven strategy. This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within five business days (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
