Handheld Lidar/Radar

Background
This solicitation is issued by the U.S. Army as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products, specifically for the procurement of handheld Lidar/Radar systems. The goal of this contract is to acquire advanced technology that meets specific operational requirements for military applications. The acquisition is set aside for small businesses, emphasizing the importance of supporting small business participation in government contracts.

Work Details
The contract involves the delivery of 8 units of Handheld Lidar/Radar systems, specifically branded as Stalker. The salient characteristics required include:
- Target range and acquisition capability of no less than 6300 feet
- At least 2x HUD telephoto lens
- Four-cell Li-ion rechargeable battery with USB and vehicle charger compatibility
- Modes including Following Too Close (FTC), Time/distance, Make and model recognition, Auto Obstruction Mode with see-through technology, School Zone/Construction Zone Mode, Inclement Weather mode, and Rear Plate mode
- Capability to collect videos and high-resolution photos with a minimum 8-megapixel camera and at least 1 TB of internal storage
- Data transfer options via USB-C, Ethernet, or cellular connection
- Heads-up display with reticles and touchscreen functionality
- Provision of 8 compatible shoulder stocks, tripod mounts, and fixed-mount housings for each Lidar unit
- AES-256 encryption and IP65 compliant carrying case
- All products must be made in the USA. Vendors are required to provide pictures and specification sheets along with their proposals. Shipments are to be sent to specified military locations across the U.S.

Period of Performance
Preferred delivery time is within 30 days from the date of order.

Place of Performance
Products will be delivered to multiple military locations including Fort Hunter Liggett in California, Fort McCoy in Wisconsin, Joint Base Maguire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, and Birmingham in Alabama.
