HAAS VF- 8/40 Vertical Milling Machine

Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of a HAAS VF-8/40 Vertical Milling Machine. The mission of NASA includes advancing technology and conducting research in aeronautics and space exploration. This contract aims to enhance NASA's capabilities at the Langley Research Center by providing a state-of-the-art CNC machining center that will support various engineering and research activities.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide, deliver, install, provide startup services, and training support for one (1) Haas VF-8/40 Vertical Machining Center configured with specified options and accessories. The machine must include:
- Base Machine: Haas VF-8/40 Vertical Machining Center
- Electrical Configuration: 230V, 3-Phase
- Warranty: Standard one (1) year manufacturer warranty
- Country of Origin: USA
- Spindle Configuration: 12K-HSK-A63-VF
- Features: 12,000 RPM spindle, HSK-A63 taper, inline direct-drive spindle, 30 hp (22.4 kW) vector drive.
- Expanded Memory: 32GB Solid-State Memory for large machine programs.
- Fourth Axis Capability: Integrated drive capability for multi-sided machining.
- Additional Accessories:
- Auxiliary Coolant Filter (ACF)
- Through-Spindle Coolant System (TSC)
- Up to 300 PSI coolant delivery
- High-Pressure Flood Coolant System
- Coolant Tank Oil Skimmer
- Mist Condenser Exhaust Enclosure.

The geographic location(s) the product will be delivered to or performed at.

Place of Performance
The product will be delivered to NASA Langley Research Center located at 7 Langley Blvd., Hampton, VA 23681.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is set aside for Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Bidders must be authorized distributors or OEMs of the HAAS VF-8/40 Vertical Machining Center. Additionally, bidders must comply with domestic sourcing requirements as the country of origin for the machine is the USA.
