NEW: Quality Water Testing North Texas VA Medical Center Base 4 Option Years

Background
The North Texas Veterans Healthcare System (VANTHCS) is issuing this solicitation for Quality Water Testing services at the North Texas VA Medical Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure effective water quality for processing medical devices in compliance with the AAMI ST108:2023 standard, which governs the processes and requirements for Sterile Processing.

This contract will cover a base year and four option years.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, materials, supplies, and supervision necessary to perform water testing services in accordance with ANSI/AAMI ST108 standards. Key tasks include:
1. Monthly testing of utility water, critical water, and steam as per guidance published in ANSI/AAMI ST108:2023.
2. Scheduling tests ideally within the first week of each month to allow time for retesting if required.
3. Collecting water samples and performing laboratory analyses, documenting results, and providing timely reports to VA designated personnel.
4. Adhering to safety and infection control procedures while maintaining secure handling of any sensitive data or Protected Health Information (PHI).
5. Conducting testing at specified locations including Dallas VA Medical Center and Fort Worth VA Clinic with detailed frequency requirements outlined in the SOW.
6. Providing consolidated monthly reports of all sample locations and results.

Base Year: December 2, 2026 – December 1, 2027; with four option years extending through December 1, 2031.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBC). They are required to have relevant experience in sterile processing testing support and must provide qualified personnel with appropriate state licenses and permits for conducting water quality testing services.
