THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that can provide Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems Monitoring, Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, and Repair Services for the following location: VA Northern Montana Health Care System, located at 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636. The Ft Harrison, MT VA Medical Center and the Miles City, MT Community Living Center have a requirement for annual, semi-annual, and quarterly inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of the facility s fire protection systems. These systems include fire alarm system, kitchen hood suppression systems, and wet/dry sprinkler systems with associated piping, valves, and pumps. Regular ITM is required per applicable accreditation and national consensus standards. The Contractor must furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide inspection, testing, and maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability for Wet and Dry Sprinkler Fire Protection Systems and Kitchen Hood Suppression Systems in accordance with the Statement of Work. The NAICS code is 561621 Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths) and Small Business Size Standard is $25.0 Million. This is a request for information and sources only, which may or may not lead to a future solicitation! This is not a request for proposal (RFP). No questions will be answered. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that can provide Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems Monitoring, Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, and Repair Services for the VA Northern Montana Health Care System located at 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636.

This notice is a request for information only and does not constitute a request for proposal.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for annual, semi-annual, and quarterly inspection, testing, and maintenance (ITM) of fire protection systems including fire alarm systems, kitchen hood suppression systems, and wet/dry sprinkler systems along with associated piping, valves, and pumps.

The contractor must furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to ensure system reliability. Specific tasks include:
- Conducting inspections and testing in compliance with NFPA standards such as NFPA 101, NFPA 72, NFPA 25.
- Documenting all tested devices/systems in accordance with The Joint Commission (TJC) report style.
- Performing minor maintenance on fire suppression and alarm systems as needed during inspections/testing.
- Conducting internal 5-year obstruction investigations of fire suppression systems.
- Providing qualified technicians certified by NICET in appropriate Fire Protection sub-fields.
- Coordinating with VAMC personnel for scheduling inspections and testing.
- Ensuring all services are returned to operational status after inspections/maintenance are completed.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is one year from the date of award with provisions for four option years.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Ft Harrison VA Medical Center located at 3687 Veterans Drive, Fort Harrison, MT 59636 and the Miles City VA Community Living Center located at 210 South Winchester Avenue Miles City, MT 59301.
