Solicitation 70Z02318RAHH00300 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95.

This is a Full and Open Competition and the North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 336413 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The U.S. Coast Guard intends to award one Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) contract for the purchase of flight critical components for the Service Life Extension Project (SLEP) in order to extend the MH-65 Short Range Recovery (SRR) aircraft's service life into the late 2030s. These components are commercial item side panels identified as: Side Panel- LH P/N 366A21-1127-1001 and Side Panel - RH P/N 366A21-1117-0902.

The contractor must be FAA Part 145 and AS9100 approved. Additionally, only parts presently approved for the USCG H-65 will be considered. Due to the nature of public use aircraft, the USCG approves parts under its own airworthiness authority by utilizing the standards directed by the FAA and EASA. The component supplier will provide the required components, interface control, and warranty services for the full period of this contract.
