RFQ - Buffalo & Batavia 3rd Party Elevator Inspections Small Business Set-Aside   2

Background
This firm-fixed price requirement is for third party semi-annual and annual inspections, annual pressure reliefs, and Quinquennial full load testing on elevators and dumbwaiters at the Buffalo VA Medical Center located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215, and the Batavia VA Medical Center located at 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020. The period of performance is from 10/02/2023 to 09/30/2024 including four (4) option years. Contractors and their certified technicians shall follow all applicable New York State laws and provide a Qualification of Elevator Inspectors (QEI).

Work Details
This firm-fixed price requirement includes third-party semi-annual and annual inspections, annual pressure reliefs, and Quinquennial full load testing on elevators and dumbwaiters at the specified medical centers. The contractors and their certified technicians are required to obtain all necessary licenses/permits in accordance with industry standards and New York State Law prior to beginning work. They should provide third-party verification of inspections and documentation for twenty-five (25) Passenger & Freight Elevators and three (3) Dumbwaiters.
Additionally, they are required to provide semi-annual inspections and documentation on seventeen (17) Traction Elevators, eight (8) Hydraulic Elevators, and three (3) Dumbwaiters. The contractor shall witness annual hydraulic pressure relief tests on eight (8) Hydraulic Elevators.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from 10/02/2023 to 09/30/2024, including four (4) option years.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Buffalo VA Medical Center located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215, and the Batavia VA Medical Center located at 222 Richmond Avenue, Batavia, NY 14020.
