Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Sioux Falls, SD, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 23, is conducting market research to identify potential sources that can provide Kitchen Hood and Portable Fire Extinguisher Inspection services.

The goal of the contract is to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while providing necessary maintenance and inspection services at the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS) Campus.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the provision of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and quality assurance necessary to complete the following services:
1. Portable fire extinguisher inspection/maintenance;
2. Portable fire extinguisher replacement;
3. Kitchen hood cleaning;
4. Kitchen hood inspection/maintenance;
5. Clean agent suppression system inspection/maintenance.

The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work complies with applicable Federal, State, and Local guidelines/specifications/design standards and in compliance with NFPA regulations. Reports must be delivered to the VATR within 14 calendar days after completion of inspections or maintenance.
