This announcement is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) / SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY, 36C25726Q0624. This sources-sought notice is for preliminary planning purposes; therefore, no proposals are being requested or accepted at this time. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACTS SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. The South Texas Veterans Health Care System is seeking potential sources that can provide continued maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspection, repair, technical support, and replacement of covered components for four (4) Water Recovery and Reuse/Reverse Osmosis (WRO) machines manufactured and/or serviced by Xylem. The contractor shall ensure the systems remain fully operational and capable of meeting manufacturer performance specifications throughout the period of performance. The contract awarded is anticipated to be a firm, fixed price. The type of solicitation that will be issued depends upon the responses to this notice. Issuance of a solicitation will be dependent upon the number of responses, information received, and subsequent market analysis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow-up information requested. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of the Business Community. After review of the responses to this sources-sought announcement a synopsis and/or solicitation announcement may be published later. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors. This is not a request for proposal and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Please limit your response to this synopsis to less than five pages and please include the following information: Your company s name, addresses, point of contact, phone number, email address & UEI Number. Background
The South Texas Veterans Health Care System, part of the Department of Veterans Affairs, is seeking potential sources for the maintenance and support of four Water Recovery and Reuse/Reverse Osmosis (WRO) machines.
The goal of this contract is to ensure these systems remain operational and meet manufacturer specifications, thereby supporting patient care activities within the Renal Service.

Work Details
The contractor will provide comprehensive services including:
- Continued maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspection, repair, technical support, and replacement of components for four WRO 300H Portable Reverse Osmosis Systems.
- Scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled corrective maintenance.
- Calibration and testing of monitoring and control systems.
- Technical support via telephone or remote diagnostics.
- Emergency service response and documentation of service reporting.
- Replacement of worn or failed components covered under the service agreement.
- Conducting water quality testing including AAMI Testing and LAL/Endotoxin Testing.
- Performing membrane cleaning procedures (both low pH and high pH) as well as heat disinfection services.
- Maintaining service records for all actions performed and providing written service reports within five business days after each visit.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide evidence of capability to meet requirements including:
- All labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, management necessary for the services outlined.
- Qualified personnel trained by Evoqua Water Technologies to perform the required services.
- Compliance with federal, state, local safety standards.
- Ability to provide emergency repair services when authorized by the Government.
