Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the Network Contracting Office 17, is issuing this solicitation for CTX Vent Hood Cleaning services at the Central Texas VA Medical Centers located in Waco and Temple, Texas.

The goal of this contract is to ensure that kitchen exhaust systems are properly maintained and cleaned to meet health and safety standards.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, services, vehicles, transportation, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, facility supervision, administration supervision and any other item necessary to scrape, de-grease, wash, clean and treat all portions of the kitchen exhaust systems located in Buildings 163, 202, 221 (Temple) and 202 (Waco).

The work includes:
1. Annual cleaning of exhaust systems including rooftop exhaust fans and duct runs at specified locations.
2. Monthly cleaning of accessible portions of kitchen vent hoods at designated buildings.
3. Quarterly cleaning for specific kitchen hoods as outlined in the Statement of Work.
4. Compliance with federal, state and local regulations regarding safety and health standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base period of performance for one year from October 3, 2025 to October 2, 2026 with four additional option years extending through October 2, 2030.
