THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY to determine the availability of potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) or any other small business firms for a small business category type set-aside. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, is conducting market research to determine potential qualified sources capable of providing Duct Cleaning Services for Bay Pines VA Healthcare System. The performance period is anticipated to be for a One Year firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 and the small business size standard is $19 Million. The information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the VA not to open the requirement to open competition, based on responses to this sources sought synopsis is solely within the discretion of the VA. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather short statements regarding the company s ability to demonstrate experience in relation to the areas specified herein. All information received in response to this sources sought notice will be marked as proprietary and will be handled accordingly. This synopsis is for information and purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation. **NOTE: Dept. of Veterans Affairs has the right to set aside for SDVOSBs/VOSBs if two or more responses are received with the required information listed above, by the due date specified below. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, is conducting market research to identify potential qualified sources capable of providing Duct Cleaning Services for the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System.

This solicitation aims to determine the availability of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), or any other small business firms for a small business category type set-aside.

Work Details
The scope of work includes cleaning all HVAC ductwork and accessories at Buildings 71 & 101 at Bay Pines VA Hospital.

The contractor will be responsible for removing visible surface contaminants from the HVAC system, which encompasses all components from air entry points to discharge points.

Specific tasks include:
- Performing visual inspections of HVAC systems prior to cleaning.
- Conducting site evaluations and establishing protection plans for building areas during cleaning.
- Ensuring debris containment during cleaning processes and using HEPA filtration for particulate collection.
- Cleaning air distribution devices, air handling units, blowers, and exhaust fans thoroughly.
- Creating service openings as necessary for proper cleaning and inspection without compromising airflow or structural integrity.
- Following NADCA standards and ensuring compliance with safety regulations throughout the project.
