OLYM Fire Extinguisher inspection, service and rep

Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the annual inspection, service, and replacement of approximately 400 portable fire extinguishers located throughout Olympic National Park. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain operational readiness of fire safety equipment within the park's various districts and administrative areas.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform annual inspection and certification of portable fire extinguishers. Services include:
- Annual inspections of all portable fire extinguishers.
- Replacement of extinguishers that fail inspection, are discharged, are damaged, or have reached a 6-year or 12-year NFPA maintenance interval.
- Minor parts replacement (e.g., tamper seals, pull-pins, O-rings).
- Affixing up-to-date inspection tags and service labels.
- Providing a digital inventory list of all extinguishers serviced.
- Providing a condition report identifying any extinguishers replaced.

This contract also includes portable fire extinguishers assigned to park-owned vessels located at designated moorage or storage sites.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract is from May 15, 2026, to March 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed throughout Olympic National Park, including locations such as Port Angeles Headquarters, Lake Crescent, Hoh Rain Forest, Quinault, Mora, and Ozette.
