Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron, 50 S. LeMay Plaza, Bldg. 804, Maxwell AFB, AL is requesting information from industry to help determine what types of capabilities are available in the market for this type of requirement, as well as finalizing the acquisition strategy for the furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment required to perform all work IAW with the Statement of requiremnt (SOR).

A site visit will be conducted at a later date at NO COST to the Government.

Background
The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base (AFB), AL, is seeking information from industry to assess available market capabilities for the maintenance, repair, and replacement of a Walk-In Freezer at Gunter Lanes, Maxwell-Gunter AFB, AL.

The goal of this effort is to finalize the acquisition strategy for the required labor, materials, and equipment as outlined in the Statement of Requirements (SOR). This sources sought synopsis is intended to gather feedback and information that may inform future solicitation efforts.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the removal and replacement of the Gunter Bowling Walk-In Freezer Condenser and Evaporator.

All work must comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including EPA guidelines for refrigerant handling and OSHA safety standards. Key acceptance criteria include:
- The freezer must reach and maintain the required temperature consistently.
- Installation must be verified through testing and quality control checks.
- Formal acceptance and sign-off by the Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI) are required upon project completion.
