Gunnison Ranger District Janitorial Service

Background
The Gunnison Ranger District, part of the USDA Forest Service, is seeking janitorial services for its office located in Gunnison, Colorado.
The mission of the agency is to manage and protect the nation's forests and grasslands.
The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and sanitary environment for employees and visitors within the district office.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for cleaning approximately 17,000 square feet of office space, which includes two full levels (the bomb shelter/basement and the main level) and two half levels (upper and lower/garden levels).
Specific tasks include:
1. Restroom cleaning: Washbasins, toilets, urinals with suitable scale remover, germicide, and deodorant; mirrors must be wiped clean without watermarks or streaks.
2. Office space cleaning: Weekly and monthly inspections by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to ensure cleanliness.
3. Mailroom/Break Room cleaning: Similar inspection requirements as office spaces.
4. Floor surface maintenance: Weekly, monthly, biannual, and annual cleanings with inspections by COR.
5. Window cleaning: Biannual cleanings with inspections by COR.
Deliverables include a Quality Control Plan before award, identification of key personnel before award, biobased product usage before award, background checks after award, and adherence to security requirements immediately upon performance commencement.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026, with an option for an additional year from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
