Gunbusters Firearms Destruction Service   2

The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Gunbuster, LLC
(aka Gunbusters, USA) for use as an efficient and Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm (ATF) approved method of permanently rendering a bulk cache of USSS-owned firearms inoperable, as they have met/exceeded their operational needs. Gunbusters LLC provides a necessary service to support the needs of USSS Weapons Distribution Center - this need will allow Weapons Distribution Center to effectively decommission and destroy firearms that are currently stockpiled and occupying storage space.

This notice of intent is neither a request for quotation nor a solicitation of offers. Based on this requirement, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available.
