Gulfstream G550 Lease   2

Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is conducting market research to identify potential sources and technical capabilities for leasing one Gulfstream G550 Aircraft. This initiative aims to support worldwide missions currently conducted using the USCG's owned G550, which operates out of Reagan National Airport (KDCA). The results of this research will inform the feasibility and desirability of contracting strategies for the lease.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for leasing and maintaining one Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation (GAC) G550 aircraft that meets specific operational requirements. The aircraft must be capable of performing global flight operations and must be accepted for service no later than June 1, 2025, with availability by June 16, 2025. Key requirements include:
- FAA certified with a US registered serial number for the life of the airframe.
- All airworthiness certification documents, weight and balance, and complete GAC service history must be available in the Computerized Maintenance Program (CMP).
- The aircraft should be up to date with all GAC annual, hourly, and inspection requirements to minimize scheduled service center visits until May 2026.
- It must support up to 550 hours and 275 landing/engine cycles annually with a dispatch reliability of 95%.
- A neutral paint color/scheme is required along with an external camera system.

Cabin configuration must accommodate a minimum of 5 crew members and 12 passengers, preferably in club seating. Additional features include a split cabin with a mid-cabin separation door, full galley, forward bathroom, oceanic survival equipment, interior firefighting equipment, and a crew/passenger oxygen system. Cabin communications should include IPTV or similar systems, a wall-mounted satellite phone system, dual-band connectivity with specified bandwidths, Ethernet ports throughout the cabin, and a configurable router. Avionics specifications include Honeywell Planeview cockpit systems and various navigation capabilities.

Period of Performance
The lease duration will be determined by the needs of the Department but is currently being explored for an initial period of one year with an option for an additional year.

Place of Performance
The aircraft will be based and operated from Reagan National Airport (KDCA).
