Background

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, testing, permits, and supervision necessary to remove existing hydronic coil/heat kits (HWK03K or equivalent) from Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) units aboard the Quarters Barge Taggatz.
2. Installing thirty-six (36) new HWK03K hydronic heat kits or approved equal.
3. Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer specifications and applicable mechanical, electrical, and safety standards.
4. Performing plumbing, electrical connections, calibration, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper PTAC operation in hydronic heating mode.

The specific PTAC units requiring replacement include eighteen (18) AMANA PTC093B00FE units, eleven (11) AMANA PTC073B00FE units, and seven (7) AMANA PTC153B00FE units located throughout various rooms on the barge.
The contractor must coordinate with facility personnel for access and maintain scheduling flexibility to minimize disruption to personnel during installation.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be completed no later than September 1, 2026.

Place of Performance
