Description

The U.S. Embassy in Guatemala requires the purchase of Semi-Permanent awning, security fencing (chainlink), concrete barriers in Huehuetenango, Guatemala in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth in the attached SOW.

The contractor shall provide all required labor, personnel, management, materials & equipment to supply the required semi-permanent, security fencing and concrete barriers.

Background
The U.S. Embassy in Guatemala is seeking to procure a semi-permanent awning, security fencing (chainlink), and concrete barriers for a checkpoint in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. This initiative is part of the embassy's efforts to enhance security and operational capabilities in the region. The contract aims to ensure that all necessary labor, materials, and equipment are provided by the contractor to meet the specified requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).

Work Details
The contractor is required to deliver the following items:
1. **Semi-Permanent Awning** - Installed in Huehuetenango, Guatemala. The awning must be made from waterproof, flame-retardant PVC laminated fabric with polyester scrim or equivalent performance fabric, and must include:
- Central canvas installed in the upper chord of joists and two lateral canvases in the lower chord.
- 100% polyester fabric with high resistance to tension, tearing, UV rays, low elongation, high flexibility, and weather resistance.
- Blackout type of at least 24 oz., laminated in three layers (two white external layers and one gray central layer).
- Eyelets for secure tying to joist cords.

2. **Security Fencing (Chainlink)** - Quantity: 25 units.
3. **Concrete Barriers** - Quantity: 16 units.
4. **Labor and Transportation** - Quantity: 1 unit.
5. **DBA Insurance** - Quantity: 1 unit.

The total price will include all labor, materials, overhead, profit, and transportation necessary for delivery to designated locations as specified in the SOW.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall begin performance within 7 calendar days after receiving the award notice and complete all work within 30 calendar days.
