Guam CREDO marriage retreat (dinner)

Background
Joint Region Marianas (JRM) is the regional coordinator for all shore-based naval personnel and shore activities in Guam, as well as the Navy's representative to the Guam community. JRM also provides key infrastructure services including the Federal Fire Department, Security & Law Enforcement, Navy Brig, Safety Department and Religious Ministry Department. Naval Base Guam Chapel (NBG) provides Religious Ministry programs to over twenty thousand active duty Sailors, their families and the Guam community. The Chaplains’ Religious Enrichment Development Operations (CREDO) retreats provide specialized ministry and support services for military members (active-duty, and reservists in an active status) and their eligible dependents. This program is in accord with the Department of the Navy’s (DON) Strategic Plan for Religious Ministry and the Chief of Naval Operations’ Sailing Directions. CREDO Guam retreats are held at non-government locations (off-site of military installations) for the purpose of creating a productive environment to facilitate personal growth. CREDO Guam retreats are conducted from Friday evening through Sunday noon (approx. 48 hours in duration). Services for Marriage Enrichment Retreats (MER) are conducted by Region Chaplains on island from Naval Base Guam, Naval Hospital, Anderson Air Force Base, and sponsored by the Chief of Navy Chaplains (N0973) per US Code Title 10, SECNAVINST 1730.7D, OPNAVINST 1738.1.

Work Details
CNRH seeks a qualified Contractor to provide facilities and services in support of the CREDO program’s MER, including lodging, meeting/dining areas, recreational areas, and meals/refreshments, to accommodate nine (4) 3-hour dinner MER on Guam. Events shall be held from June 2023 to February 2024. Participants are not authorized per diem as this is not official travel.
