Notice of Intent to Sole Source:

This acquisition will be in support of Department of Homeland Security US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Air and Marine Operations (AMO) National Air Training Center (NATC)TThe U.S Customs and Border Protection intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price sole source award to Precision Fight Controls 2747 Mercantile Dr., Suite 100, Rancho Cordova, CA 95742 for procurement of PFC GTX Max Cessna flight simulator system upgrade. Precision Flight Controls is the sole manufacturer of the PFC GTX Max Cessna flight simulator and are the only one who can provide the system upgrade.

The period of performance is 30 days from date or award. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor an invitation for bids. There is no formal solicitation available for this requirement at this time. If any contractors feel they can meet the requirements. Please submit a capabilities statement displaying your ability to meet the requirements to the Contracting Officer by email at shante.o.melton@cbp.dhs.gov by the response date and time listed with this notice.

Background
The Department of Homeland Security US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Air and Marine Operations (AMO) National Air Training Center (NATC) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price sole source award to Precision Flight Controls for the procurement of PFC GTX Max Cessna flight simulator system upgrade. Precision Flight Controls is the sole manufacturer of the PFC GTX Max Cessna flight simulator and are the only one who can provide the system upgrade.

Work Details
The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to obtain a one-time service upgrade job for the GTX MAX Cessna 206 flight simulator with a G1000 Package and a ProMotion II 3DOF Motion System for $51,945.00. The service upgrade includes system hardware components, system simulator software upgrade, upgrade to C206 CBP aircraft flight models, GPS update, and system upgrade to ensure effective operation of all hardware components.

Period of Performance
The period of performance is 30 days from date of award.

Place of Performance
The service repair is requested to be conducted by September 15, 2023 at the National Air Training Center.
