Description

The expected acquisition is to be a sole source contract awarded pursuant to the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

To ensure the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is able to continue to receive threat mitigation support, GSA FEDSIM intends to award a sole source Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract to Booze Allen Hamilton (BAH), for a 12-month period of performance under FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The awarding of a sole source contract is necessary to ensure there is no break in service for the current requirements as DIA re-defines the program and prepares for a competitive acquisition. Awarding this bridge contract will provide GSA FEDSIM time to execute the source selection activities for the re-compete with ample transition time after award.
