GSA PBS - Facility Support Services /Project Manager - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA) is conducting market research to identify a qualified Project Manager for the White Oak Field Office located at the Federal Research Center in White Oak, Maryland. This facility supports both the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the U.S. Air Force, encompassing approximately 660 acres of federal land with over 4.5 million square feet of mixed-use space, including offices, laboratories, energy operations plant, and forest land. The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance system reliability and efficiency through effective project management and support services.

The scope of work for this contract involves providing professional services to assist the GSA White Oak Field Office in managing construction and repair/alteration projects along with operation and maintenance tasks on the campus. The responsibilities include developing Scopes of Work, preparing Independent Government estimates, drafting procurement documents, and managing construction projects related to mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural equipment, spaces, and components that exceed the current staff's capacity.

The Contractor will be responsible for delivering technical and administrative personnel promptly to fulfill these requirements effectively. Key tasks include collaborating with GSA staff at White Oak as well as agency heads at FDA and USAF to resolve issues and lead projects that support customer needs. The Project Manager must possess skills in reviewing site/construction drawings and organizing project documentation while conducting inspections as necessary. Regular status updates will be provided to government task managers, team members, customers, and vendors.
