GSA Leasing Industry Day: Important Information for Offerors and Existing Lessors

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is hosting a free online Industry Day presentation on May 16, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EDT to provide updated information to prospective offerors and existing lessors on GSA’s lease acquisition and administration tools, including forthcoming platform changes and tax processing enhancements.

Work Details
Presentation topics include:
upcoming changes to GSA’s Lease Offer Platform;
overview of the Real Estate Tax Tool and its use for submitting tax bills, evidence of payment, and invoices;
description of the Automated Advanced Acquisition Platform (AAAP), including registration procedures, the typical open period (1st–7th), submission of best and final proposals without negotiations, four set lease terms, and multiple award procurement;
overview of the Requirement Specific Acquisition Platform (RSAP), including one-way platform submissions only and LCO authorization exceptions;
transition from the Lease Offer Platform to the Leasing Portal effective June 22, 2023;
resources and support, such as AAAP/RSAP help pages, FAQs, detailed workflow walkthroughs, help desk (1-866-450-6588, Ext. 7), and Procurement Technical Assistance Centers;
instructions for using the Tax Tool portal for real estate tax adjustments and appeals.
