The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) in the Greater Southwest Region is seeking Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and Engineering Support Services for the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU). The DIU facilitates partnerships between the Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial technology companies to address national security challenges. The contractor will provide support across various areas, including Artificial Intelligence, Autonomy, Human Systems, Information Technology/Cyber, Space, Energy, and more. The contract is a non-personal services contract with a performance period of one base year and four option years. The work will be performed at various government sites and contractor sites, with the possibility of telework arrangements.

The contractor will be responsible for providing SME and engineering support services to assist DIU in accelerating the identification, acquisition, transition, and adoption of stable commercial technologies across the DoD. This includes project management, commercial and defense engagement, due diligence, analytical support, and technical expertise in areas such as artificial intelligence, autonomy, human systems, cyber security, space technology, and energy solutions. The contractor will also provide business operations support in strategic communications, analytics, policy development, and other areas as needed.

The contract has a performance period of one base year from September 1st, 2023 to August 31st, 2024, with four option years available. The work will be performed at government sites in Mountain View, CA; Boston, MA; Austin, TX; Washington DC National Capital Region (NCR), as well as other sites as directed by the government. Telework may be authorized with approval from the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) or Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). The contractor will be required to develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services are performed according to the Performance Work Statement (PWS), and compliance with security requirements is essential.
