GSA AAS - USMC Telecomms System, Network and Cybersecurity - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA), through its Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS), is conducting market research on behalf of Marine Corps Installations West (MCI West) G6. The primary goal of this initiative is to gather information from contract holders regarding their capabilities to provide comprehensive telecommunications system, network, and cybersecurity support. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to assist the government in identifying potential contractors who can fulfill the requirements set forth by MCI West. It is important to note that this RFI is solely for market research purposes and does not constitute a commitment from the government to proceed with a procurement action.

MCI West requires robust contract support for the management and sustainment of critical communication systems such as the Enterprise Land Mobile Radio Western Region Infrastructure (E-LMR WRI), Low Altitude Range Communications System (LARCS), and Microwave Transport Network. These systems are vital for installation first responders, range safety, airfield operations, and other mission-critical functions. The scope of work includes providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services required for telecommunications system support as well as network and cybersecurity services.

The specific tasks involved in this contract encompass network development, installation, administration, maintenance of IT systems; implementation of Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF); maintenance of physical security compliance; and more. The work will primarily take place at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton in California with some travel required. The anticipated contract type is a hybrid firm fixed price combined with time-and-materials provisions along with cost reimbursement for travel-related expenses.

Key personnel required under this contract include Cybersecurity & Communications Security Administrators at both SME and Intermediate levels along with Network Engineers and System Engineers. These roles demand specific certifications such as CISSP for IAM 3 certification level compliance among others like Security+, Motorola Astro 25 Integrated Voice & Data expertise among others listed qualifications crucial towards fulfilling contractual obligations effectively.
