GSA AAS - IT Radio Field Service Support - MRAS

The General Services Administration (GSA), through its Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS), is conducting market research on behalf of Marine Corps Installations West (MCI West) G6. This effort focuses on identifying potential contract holders capable of providing IT Radio Field Service Support. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather insights from industry stakeholders to inform future acquisition strategies. It is important to note that the RFI is solely for market research purposes and does not imply any commitment by the government to initiate a procurement action.

The overarching goal of this initiative is to support MCI West in managing and sustaining critical telecommunications infrastructure, including the Enterprise Land Mobile Radio Western Region Infrastructure (E-LMR WRI), Low Altitude Range Communications System (LARCS), Microwave Transport Network, and other Command and Control systems. These systems are vital for first responders, range safety operations, airfield management, and other mission-critical functions across all MCI West installations.

The work required involves comprehensive IT radio field service support at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, with responsibilities extending throughout the MCI West area of responsibility. Contractors will be expected to ensure the operational integrity of various subsystems such as DC power systems, antenna combiner systems, and tower systems. The successful contractor will need to demonstrate capabilities in maintaining these complex communication networks effectively.

In addition to technical maintenance services, respondents are expected to address cybersecurity aspects related to supply chain risk management. This includes completing a Cyber-Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM) Questionnaire as part of their response. The questionnaire assesses an organization's policies and procedures regarding supplier risk assessment, contractual obligations for cybersecurity compliance, incident response plans, and adherence to federal standards such as NIST SP 800-53.
