Grove Crane Repair

Background
Hurlburt Field Air Force Base has a requirement for the repair of a 2009 Grove 50T Crane. The contractor will provide all necessary management, tools, equipment, supplies, technical data, and labor to complete the repairs in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW). The goal is to ensure the crane is fully operational and meets all manufacturer specifications.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks: test, tear down, quote (TD&Q), and complete authorized repairs on one TMS700E model Grove 50T crane (VIN: 476S700E59S229552). All work must be conducted at the contractor’s repair facility within a 300-mile radius of Hurlburt Field. Transportation to and from the facility will be handled by the 823 RED HORSE Squadron. Specific tasks include:
- Perform software updates
- Repair PTO mainline leak
- Repair/replace output shaft flange gasket
- Fix hydraulic leak on swivel manifold
- Change transmission fluid
- Repair rear differential input shaft leak
- Repair/replace inoperable turn signals
- Inspect and lubricate boom
- Rebuild swing valve
- Repair/replace hydraulic pump and hoses
- Perform A/C repairs
- Conduct clutch brake adjustments.
Additionally, the contractor must use OEM approved parts and follow manufacturer’s technical specifications for all repairs. An operator’s check must be performed post-repair to ensure functionality as per manufacturer standards. The contractor is also required to provide written documentation of all repairs completed along with any warranties.

The work will be performed at the contractor's repair facility within a 300-mile radius of Hurlburt Field.
