Grounds Maintenance Services for CO147 in Colorado Springs, CO   2

Background
The 88th Army Reserve Readiness Division, established in 2009 at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, supports approximately 50,000 Soldiers across 19 states. The mission of this division is to provide exceptional base operations support for Soldiers in the Northwest region.

The goal of this contract is to engage a contractor to perform necessary grounds maintenance services at the Army Reserve facility CO147 located at 4195 Foreign Trade Zone Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80925.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform grounds maintenance services as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Specific tasks include:
- lawn maintenance;
- aeration;
- fertilization;
- weed control;
- general spring and fall cleanup.

The contractor must maintain satisfactory conditions for lawns, trees, shrubs, and other exterior flora to present a clean and professional appearance. The contractor is responsible for verifying actual site conditions and measurements. Quality assurance will be managed through a Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), with nonconformance issues addressed via Corrective Action Reports (CARs).

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes one base period and four 12-month option periods with an option to extend services for up to six months. Active performance periods are from April through November each year, with non-active periods from December through March. Spring cleanup may occur two weeks prior to the active period start and fall cleanup two weeks after the active period ends.
