GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES - Attleboro, MA

Background
The Army Contracting Command-NJ is seeking to establish a non-personal services contract for Grounds Maintenance Services at the 1SG Lawrence O. Poncin USARC located in Attleboro, MA. The mission of this contract is to ensure the maintenance of healthy grass, trees, shrubs, and plants while presenting a clean and professional appearance at the facility.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and other items required for grounds maintenance services as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:

1. Provide grounds maintenance services including mowing, edging, trimming, spring and fall cleanup, weeding/planting bed maintenance, and pruning/trimming of trees/shrubs.

2. Mowing shall occur approximately every 14 days during the growing season with grass cut to a height between two and three inches. Clippings must be removed within four hours after cutting.

3. Edging will be performed twice a year (spring and fall) along sidewalks and pavements.

4. Trimming shall occur monthly from April to November in the Northern Region and from March to November in the Southern Region.

5. Spring and fall cleanup will involve removing refuse and leaves from all areas twice a year.

6. Weeding shall be done monthly during the growing season for visually prominent planting beds as directed by the COR/RFOS.

7. Pruning/trimming of trees/shrubs will occur twice a year while maintaining their natural shape.

8. The contractor must submit clear photographs of service areas before and after work completion within 24 hours.

Period of Performance
The period of performance includes one base year with four twelve-month option periods.

The work will be performed at the 1SG Lawrence O. Poncin USARC located at 50 John Williams Street in Attleboro, MA.
