Background
Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW) is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 10 and 12 to identify sources and determine if commercial items are available to satisfy the Government’s need for grounds maintenance, landscaping, and pavement clearance services at various Navy and Marine Corps locations throughout the NAVFAC SW Area of Responsibility (AOR). This is a Sources Sought Notice Only.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide grounds maintenance, landscaping, and pavement clearance services at various Navy and Marine Corps locations throughout the NAVFAC SW Area of Responsibility (AOR). Services to be performed under the resulting contract will include grounds maintenance and landscaping services such as lawn care and maintenance; mowing and trimming; edging; shrub, hedge, plant and tree maintenance; tree/palm, stump removal; pruning; vegetation control and removal; weed control; trash and debris removal; aeration; de-thatching; fertilization; irrigation systems operation and maintenance.
Additionally, pavement clearance services will include pavement sweeping services of roads, piers, other paved surfaces; snow and ice removal services; snow management; and de-icing operations.

Period of Performance
One (1) base period of 12 months, up to seven (7) option periods of 12 months each, and extension of services period of up to six (6) months. Maximum contract term of 102 months if all options are exercised.

Place of Performance
Various Navy and Marine Corps locations throughout the NAVFAC SW Area of Responsibility (AOR)
