The purpose of Amendment No. 0001, to solicitation 697DCK-25-R-00008 for Ground Maintenance Services for the Jacksonville Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) is being released to:

1) Post the responses to the questions received, see attachment J-5.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for a ground maintenance services at the Jacksonville Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC). This is a firm-fixed price (FFP) procurement, competed as a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 561730 Landscaping Services.

Performance Begins 03/01/2025 for the base year plus four (4) option years.

TIMELINE

Site Visit Information An optional site visit IAW AMS Clause SA30, is scheduled for the date below. Attendance is encouraged, but not mandatory. To attend the site visit, advance registration is required by 01/03/2025 at 1700 PM EST to Matina Jackson at Matina.L.Jackson@faa.gov AND Patricia Mogck at patricia.mogck@faa.gov, using the SUBJECT LINE: Site Visit Request for 697DCK-25-R-00008.

Please provide name of company and the name of each person attending the site visit. An email with instructions regarding the site visit will be provided following acceptance of your request. Attendance to the site visit is limited to only two (2) representatives per company.

Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for ground maintenance services at the Jacksonville Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC). This contract is a firm-fixed price procurement, exclusively set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The primary goal of this contract is to ensure the grounds of the Jacksonville ARTCC are maintained in a manicured state year-round.

Work Details
The Contractor must provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and materials necessary for complete grounds maintenance services. Tasks include: cutting grass, edging, blowing debris, trash collection and disposal of vegetation, under brushing, tree and shrub pruning, mulching, ditch cleaning, and picking up tree trimmings. All collected trash/vegetation can be disposed of in an FAA-provided 30-yard roll-off dumpster. The total area to be maintained is approximately 25.25 acres and is divided into four areas:

1. **Area 1**: Services include mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing off parking lots and sidewalks after mowing, tree trimming, dead vegetation pick-up, trash collection, and maintaining fencing. This area has an irrigation system that the contractor must repair if damaged due to negligence.

2. **Area 2**: Similar services as Area 1 with specific attention to maintaining the parking lot and water tanks.

3. **Area 3**: Includes mowing and maintenance tasks similar to previous areas while considering the drainage ditch along the North border.

4. **Area 4**: Services required include mowing, weed eating, blowing off roads and concrete areas after mowing, tree trimming, dead vegetation pick-up, and trash collection.

Performance begins on March 1, 2025 for the base year plus four option years.
