Ground Maintenance in Camp Casey and Yongsan   2

Background
The contract is issued by the U.S. Army for grounds maintenance services at Camp Casey and Camp Yongsan, with the goal of maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the military installations. The contractor is expected to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, and supervision to perform the required tasks as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Work Details
The contractor shall perform various grounds maintenance tasks including:

1. Grass Cutting Services:
- Camp Casey: Approximately 60.25 acres (14 times) of improved ground area and 274.49 acres (14 times) of semi-improved ground area from April to October.
- Camp Yongsan: Approximately 68.49 acres (14 times) of improved ground area and 28.45 acres (14 times) of semi-improved ground area from April to October.
- Rodriguez Range: Approximately 11.37 acres (14 times) of improved ground area and 31.46 acres (14 times) of semi-improved ground area from April to October.

2. Leaf Raking Services:
- Camp Casey: Approximately 60.25 acres (2 times) during October to December for improved ground area.
- Camp Yongsan: Approximately 68.49 acres (2 times) during October to December for improved ground area.

3. Removal of Arrow Root Vines and Trimming:
- Along perimeter fences at specified locations, including approximately 24,185 linear meters at installation boundaries and 937 linear meters at Camp Morse, performed twice a year in May and September.

4. Debris Removal:
- From Casey creek in Camp Casey & Hovey, approximately 9,469 linear meters performed twice a year in June and August.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period from April through December annually, with specific tasks scheduled multiple times throughout this timeframe.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at various locations including Camp Casey, Camp Yongsan, Rodriguez Range, and other specified areas within the installation boundaries.
