The Houston Texas VA Medical Center, its associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), and affiliated healthcare clinics require contracted emergency and non-emergency ground ambulance and patient transportation services. The contractor shall provide all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for the provision of Stretcher Transports, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Critical Care Transport (CCT) services. The contactor shall make these ambulance services available to the VA as needed, 24 hours a day, seven days a week (24/7), including weekends and holidays. There is no incumbent or procurement history for this requirement. The estimated magnitude of this requirement is between $100,00.00 - $49,000,000.00. See attachments for further details.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide patient transportation services on an as-needed basis in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and all federal, state, and local regulations.

The contract type is Fixed Unit Price, Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity type contract (IDIQ) with a 60-month ordering period.

Period of Performance
The ordering period for the contract is 60 months.
