Background
The Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP) is seeking vendors for the replacement of its Airport Traffic Control Tower (ATCT) and Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) facility. This project aims to enhance air traffic management capabilities at the airport, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the construction of a new ATCT and TRACON/Base Building at GSP Airport in Greer, South Carolina. Key details include:
- Construction of a single-story base building approximately 17,868 square feet on a 5-acre site.
- The ATCT will be 187 feet above ground level with 12 levels, constructed from precast concrete panels and structural steel.
- The facility will include two egress staircases, two elevators, and a 679 square foot cab with four occupied levels for operational functions.
- The TRACON/Base Building will house administrative offices, restrooms, conference rooms, storage areas, fire protection systems, air handlers, and critical power distribution systems including generators and UPS units.
- Site improvements involve grading, drainage, utilities installation, paving, security fencing and lighting, fiber optic installations for communication loops compliant with FAA requirements.
