Green Economy Activity

Background
The purpose of the Green Economy Activity is to build the capacity of the Kyrgyz Republic to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change in its economy in order to create and develop a “green economy,” or one that is low carbon, resource-efficient, and socially inclusive. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)/Kyrgyz Republic is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to implement a Green Economy Activity as described in the attached Request for Proposals (RFP). The activity will be implemented through a single cost-plus-fixed fee completion contract. The applicable geographic codes for this procurement are 937 and 110. The amount of total funding reserved for this activity is $23,999,151.

Work Details
The purpose of this contract is to acquire services to implement the USAID/Kyrgyz Republic’s Green Economy Activity as described throughout this contract. A Cost or Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) Completion contract is anticipated. For consideration set forth, the contractor must provide the deliverables and outputs described herein.

The Total Estimated Cost and fixed fee, if any, is as follows (TBD): Year 1 (USD), Year 2 (USD), Year 3 (USD), Year 4 (USD), Year 5 (USD), Total. The U.S. dollar costs allowable shall be limited to reasonable, allocable and necessary costs.

Place of Performance
The activity will be implemented in all of the Kyrgyz Republic’s regions.
