Background
The NAVFAC Northwest (NAVFAC NW) is issuing an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for various construction tasks including new construction, renovation, alteration, repair, and demolition of facilities.
This contract is aimed at supporting the agency's mission in the NAVFAC NW Area of Operations, which includes states such as Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Wyoming.
The majority of work is anticipated to occur in Washington.

Work Details
The MACC will encompass a wide range of construction tasks under both Design-Bid-Build (DBB) and Design-Build (DB) methodologies.
The work includes but is not limited to:
- New construction projects for various facility types including industrial buildings, maintenance facilities, warehouses, production sites, communications centers, personnel support facilities, recreation areas, lodging facilities, medical buildings, training ranges, roads, and aviation facilities.
- Renovation and alteration projects that may involve significant structural changes or upgrades to existing facilities.
- Repair work that addresses maintenance issues or damage to existing structures.
- Demolition tasks that require safe removal of structures as per environmental regulations.
The contract will operate on a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) basis for task orders issued under this MACC.

Period of Performance
The base contract has a 24-month ordering period with an option for an additional 36-month period under Option 1.
The maximum programmed amount for all contracts combined is $1 billion.

Place of Performance
The primary geographic locations for performance include Washington State and other states within the NAVFAC NW Area of Operations.
