Background
The United States Attorney's Office (USAO) for the Western District of Washington is seeking to procure Grand Jury Services. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive court reporting and transcription services for Grand Jury proceedings, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to legal standards. This contract will support the USAO's mission to uphold justice by facilitating the judicial process through reliable and timely reporting of Grand Jury activities.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and facilities necessary to record and transcribe Grand Jury and deposition testimony on an 'as needed' basis. Key tasks include:
1. Attendance at scheduled Grand Jury sessions, typically occurring twice a week at the United States Federal Building located at 700 Stewart Street, Suite 5220, Seattle, WA.
2. Delivery of various types of transcripts including regular, intermediate, daily, expedited, condensed transcripts, and keyword indexing within specified turnaround times.
3. Ensuring that all personnel have appropriate security clearances to access sensitive Grand Jury information.
4. Providing a minimum of five court reporters per location as required by the USAO.
5. Compliance with Department of Labor wage rates and other applicable regulations.

Period of Performance
The contract will have a base year from September 30, 2025, through September 29, 2026, with four one-year option periods extending through September 29, 2030.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be the United States Federal Building at 700 Stewart Street, Suite 5220, Seattle, WA.
