Grades 6-12 Science Instructional Resources

Background
The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is seeking evidence-based instructional resources that align with performance expectations in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for grades 6-12.

The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive science instructional materials that cover life, earth, and physical sciences across middle and high school courses, ensuring all performance expectations for grades 6-8 and 9-12 are met.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for delivering instructional resources that are compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, ensuring accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

Key requirements include:
1. Compliance with Revised 508 Standards for Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
2. Provision of digital Optical Character Recognition (OCR) copies of print materials in specified formats upon request.
3. All digital modules must be SCORM-compliant as per DoD Instruction 1322.26.
4. The contractor must maintain updated content throughout the contract period, ensuring resources remain current within one school year.
5. Resources must be free from bias and promote diversity and inclusion.
6. The contractor must manage data rights to ensure DoDEA can use resources without copyright infringement.
7. Travel may be required for training purposes, with specific guidelines on travel expenses and plans outlined in the contract.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various locations as required by DoDEA, including military bases or installations.
