Description

The objective of this service contract is to provide a Music Leader for the Installation's Chapel Office, Hope Chapel at Fort Bliss, Texas, that is capable of playing the keyboard/piano as well as leading the music team which is essential for the Fort Bliss Gospel Worship Service. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing services as a Music Leader for the Fort Bliss, Gospel Protestant Service. The Contractor shall direct the congregation music teams according to the direction of Gospel Senior Pastor/Chaplain. Additionally, as the Music Leader the contractor shall lead the music teams according to traditions (contemporary service) of the Gospel Worship Service, as directed by the schedule of services. This may include selecting worship songs for congregational singing, offertories, contemporary style religious music and special selections. Lastly, the contractor shall perform at music team's rehearsals as directed by the schedule of services. Background
The objective of this service contract is to provide a Music Leader for the Installation’s Chapel Office, Hope Chapel at Fort Bliss, Texas. The Contractor shall be responsible for providing services as a Music Leader for the Fort Bliss, Gospel Protestant Service. The Contractor shall direct the congregation music teams according to the direction of Gospel Senior Pastor/Chaplain. The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Year of 12 months with 3, one-year options.

Work Details
The Music Leader shall play the keyboard/piano and lead the music team essential for the Gospel Worship Service. Responsibilities include selecting worship songs, offertories, contemporary style religious music, and special selections.

The Music Leader shall perform at music team’s rehearsals as directed by the schedule of services. Additionally, the Music Leader will coordinate and plan for all Gospel Chapel Services, including Sunday morning worship, rehearsals, special events, and fellowship/outreach activities as directed by the Senior Pastor/Chaplain.

Period of Performance
Base 25 September 2023 through 24 September 2024. Option year 1 shall be from 25 September 2024 through 24 September 2025. Option year 2 shall be from 25 September 2025 through 24 September 2026. Option year 3 shall be from 25 September 2026 through 24 September 2027.
