Background
The project involves the renovation of various components of the Goose Pond Pumping Station, managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. The mission is to ensure the functionality and safety of the pumping station through necessary repairs and upgrades to its mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil features.

The goal is to maintain operational efficiency while adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. In-kind replacement and renovation of existing mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil features of the pump station.
2. Concrete repairs including spall repairs at various locations such as steps and outlet structures.
3. Erosion control measures including filling eroded areas behind concrete slope protection with concrete.
4. Replacement of trash racks and grates in kind or equivalent, including painting new installations as per specifications.
5. Handrail replacements in kind or equivalent with specific height requirements for top rails and midrails.
6. Roof membrane replacement involving a built-up roof system with insulation board.
7. Structural steel replacements conforming to ASTM standards for various components including handrails and support structures.

The construction projects will be performed at the Goose Pond Pumping Station located in Alexander County, Illinois.
