This update to the solicitation provides the Source Selection Statement.

The purpose of this posting is to provide the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) Request for Proposal (RFP) per the attached Cover Letter, RFP, Attachments, Enclosures and Exhibits.

Background
The Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) is a laboratory located in New York, New York, in the Earth Sciences Division (ESD) of the Science and Exploration Directorate (SED) of the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC). Its primary mission is research emphasizing a broad study of global change, an interdisciplinary research initiative addressing natural and anthropogenic changes in the environment occurring on various time scales from decades to millennia. Also, of prime concern are the climate impacts affecting Earth’s habitability. GISS requires a mission support services contractor to perform specific functions that are not inherently governmental.

Work Details
The Contractor will provide support services to GISS in scientific programming and analysis, computer facilities support including computer security, library and publications services, and project management support.
The scientific programming and analysis service area are categorized into four broad areas: Global Climate Modeling, Earth Observations, Climate Impacts, and Planetary Climatology.
The Contractor shall furnish comprehensive support services that include project management and coordination.
