Globemaster III Sustainment Contract (G3)   4

The Globemaster III Sustainment Contract (G3) provides for sustainment and logistical support necessary for the C-17 fleet in order to continually provide both strategic and tactical airlift capability to the United States Air Force (USAF), Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve Command and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) partner nations. The C-17 sustainment and logistical support requirements include program management, system and sustaining engineering, technical order management, technical data management and modifications, product support, contractor inventory control points, material management, support equipment management, field services, depot level maintenance, and unique FMS requirements. This contract is a 9-year, 8-month Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract which includes Fixed-Price-Incentive (Firm Target) (FPIF), Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Cost-Plus-Incentive-Fee (CPIF), and Time and Material (T&M) line items. This action was awarded using Other Than Full and Open Competition prescribed by FAR 6.302-1.
