Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) used to conduct market research.

The U.S. Government (USG) is seeking vendors with the capability of providing the Global Command Terrestrial Communications (GCTC) IV support services. These services include, but are not limited to: program management, IT and system engineering support and implementation, operations and maintenance, and other technical support in the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) on a world-wide basis. The U.S. Government is also seeking information on vendor capability to deliver six (6) vendor-owned, leasable Ku-band satellite terminals - operationally compatible with current Deployable Ku-band Earth Terminals (DKET Light) in government inventory:

JTIC- and WGS-certified satellite terminals must be delivered to Ft. Bragg, NC within 90-days of binding agreement and provide a Head Quarters level of service. Terminals must function in all weather conditions, operating 365 days a year without mechanical failure. Incidental services, such as Field Support Representative, may also be required to augment government operations and maintenance support. JTIC- and WGS-certified satellite terminals must be ready to deploy at contract award.

The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice by providing the company's capabilities in regard to the above requirements. Capabilities statement should include the following:

This Market Research is not a solicitation as defined by FAR 2.101, and the Government is not requesting offers or proposals at this time. No solicitation will be issued at this time, nor does this market research guarantee that a solicitation will be issued in the future. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the U.S. Government. The U.S. Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued as a result of this RFI.
