Glioblastoma Research Program Fiscal Year 2024 Stakeholder Request for Information

Background
The Glioblastoma Research Program Fiscal Year 2024 Stakeholder Request for Information aims to gather input from stakeholders with relevant expertise and lived experience to identify knowledge gaps, targeted outcomes, and therapeutic needs that can advance the state of the science and improve patient care for individuals diagnosed with glioblastoma. The program is included in the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 at $10 million and will be managed by the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) according to congressional intent. All CDMRP-funded research must be relevant to Service Members, their Families, Veterans, and/or the American public.

Work Details
The RFI seeks responses on the identification of knowledge gaps in areas of disease biology/etiology, diagnosis, prevention, interventions, and patient needs in glioblastoma. It also requests information on promising areas within glioblastoma research, underfunded or under-resourced areas in glioblastoma, types of studies that would benefit the glioblastoma field, innovative areas/topics that could revolutionize glioblastoma research and clinical care, obstacles or challenges faced by researchers and the patient community that could potentially be addressed by the GBMRP. Additionally, it asks about the role of respondents in the glioblastoma community and offers an opportunity to express interest in attending the upcoming FY24 GBMRP Stakeholders Meeting.

Period of Performance
The virtual GBMRP stakeholders meeting is scheduled for 28 June 2024. Responses to the RFI must be submitted by no later than 4:00 PM (EST) on 29 May 2024.
