Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in the format in Solicitation Number: 12443924Q0032. The procurement is set aside for Small Business with the NAICS code 562991. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supplies, water, chemicals, incidentals, transportation, records, and supervision necessary to complete the work to pump and legally haul and dispose of domestic sewage and debris at an approved wastewater treatment facility in accordance with this scope and all ordinances, codes, standards, and regulations of the local, state, and federal authorities having jurisdiction. This contract also includes the rental and servicing of a portable toilet for the Sherando Lake Entrance Station.

Work Details
The contractor is responsible for pumping and legally hauling domestic sewage and debris to an approved wastewater treatment facility. This includes rental and servicing of a portable toilet for the Sherando Lake Entrance Station.

The contract references multiple human waste disposal sites at Crabtree Falls / Crabtree Meadows (Nelson County, VA) and Sherando Lake Recreation Area (Augusta County, VA). The attached Schedule of Items and Site Maps provide specific information about size, quantity, and location of all SST vault tanks and Septic system effluent waste tanks. Request to service specific tanks/vaults will be on a ‘Call When Needed’ basis. The busiest period of use throughout the year tends to be May through October.

Place of Performance
General Area Locations: Crabtree Falls toilets are located at the top of the parking lot on State Highway 56, Montebello, Virginia approximately 12 miles from State Highway 11. Crabtree Meadows toilet is located at the trailhead parking along State Route 826 approximately 4 miles from State Highway 56. Note that this VA DOT maintained road is not paved but graded gravel. Sherando Lake Recreation Area entrance is located at 96 State Route 664, Lyndhurst, VA roughly 8 miles from Stuarts Draft, VA.
