Glass, Mirror, and Plexiglass

Background
UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc. is seeking potential contractors to supply glass, mirrors, and plexiglass for use in the manufacture of office furniture.

This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather information to develop an Acquisition Strategy and does not obligate UNICOR to enter into a contract. The agency's mission includes providing quality products while supporting the rehabilitation of incarcerated individuals through employment opportunities.

Work Details
The RFI requests sources capable of supplying various types of glass and mirror products for executive office furniture construction. Specific product specifications include:
- 1/8" x 12" x 20", PLEXIGLASS-MIRROR, INDUSTRIAL GRADE, PLEXIGLASS (with all 4 corners having a 1/8" radius)
- GLS, CLEAR, TEMPERED, 3/16" x 12-3/16" x 47-1/8", CLEAR TEMPERED WITH SANDED EDGES (dimension tolerance: 1/8")
- GLS, CLEAR, TEMPERED, 3/16" x 10-5/8" x 12-3/16", CLEAR TEMPERED GLASS WITH SANDED EDGES
- GLS, CLEAR, TEMPERED, 1100MM x 310MM x 3/16*, CLEAR TEMPERED WITH SANDED EDGES (dimension tolerance: 1/8")
- DOOR, GLASS, 585MM x 310MM x 3/16", CLEAR TEMPERED WITH SANDED EDGES (dimension tolerance: 1/8")

- 3/16" x 19-5/8" x 29-1/2", TEMP BRONZ with PENCIL-POLISHED EDGE
- GLASS DOOR UPPER STORAGE DOUBLE HRM with SMOKED TEMPERED GLASS (size: 913.5MM x 392.5MM x 6MM; tolerance: +/- 1MM). Offerors must provide samples at the time of solicitation offer submission and may be required to present oral presentations.

The products will be delivered to two FPI Office Furniture Plants located at:
1. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Forrest City Plant - 1400 Dale Bumpers Rd, Forrest City, AR 72335
2. UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Ashland Plant - 539 West Summit Rd, Ashland, KY 41102.
