Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires a contract for FY24 USACE Galveston District GIWW, Freeport to Upper Matagorda Bay, Pipeline Dredging in Matagorda & Brazoria County, Texas. The work consists of maintenance dredging of various areas along the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and other tributaries. The solicitation is unrestricted and will be issued on or about February 2024 with a response date on or about March 2024.

Work Details
The work consists of Schedule 1: Maintenance dredging of Gulf Intracoastal Waterway Freeport Harbor to Matagorda Bay reach, including dredging between specific stations with estimated volumes and placement areas. It also includes options for maintenance dredging of Brazos River Floodgates Boat House, Colorado River Locks Boat House, additional areas along the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, and various tributaries. The completion time for Schedule No. 1 is estimated at 200 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be determined upon award and may include an additional 260 calendar days if awarded.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed in Matagorda & Brazoria County, Texas.
