Background
The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction requirement at George Washington Birthplace National Monument in Virginia. The goal of the contract is to provide necessary renovations to the administrative offices by painting and replacing carpets. This project is part of the agency's mission to preserve and enhance historical sites while ensuring they remain functional for administrative purposes. Work Details
The work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, and incidentals required to paint and carpet the administrative offices. Specifically, the contractor will patch and paint the walls, ceilings, and trim in six administrative offices and the hallway. Additionally, the outdated carpet in these areas will be replaced. The project also includes work in the mailroom and at the Visitor Center front desk.
