This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the policies and procedures using FAR subpart 12.6, FAR Subpart 8.405-6(b)(1) Brand Name; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is in support of NSW requirement to procure GeoExpress 10 software reduces storage costs by compressing images to less than 5 percent of their original size using either the industry-standard MrSID image compression format or the ISO-standard JPEG 2000 format (J2K), all while retaining the visual quality of the originals. GeoExpress has been in use at the MSC for more than a decade and is commonly used to process raster datasets for storage, analysis, and sharing with others, in accordance with Attachment 1 - Product Description. Parties interested in submitting a quote are highly encouraged to review all solicitation documents and attachments in its entirety to ensure compliant quote submittal. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 513210, with a small business size standard of $47 million. Quotes are due no later than 10:00 A.M.(EDT) on 06 March 2024. The quotes shall be valid for no less than 180 days from the date of RFQ closing; a statement affirming this fact shall be included in the Introduction. Offerors are notified that Terms and conditions, including selection and award information, are contained within the solicitation documents and attachments hereto. This combined synopsis/solicitation shall not be construed as a contract, a commitment to contract, or a commitment by the Government incurring an obligation of any kind.
